Packing right now. Laundry is tumbling in the dryer, I’m sleepy as can be, and I’m sipping on a beer. Gathering my CD’s together, and inventorying (is that even a word?) what I need for a short jaunt over to Cow Town.
This will be fun. My first road trip back to Columbus in ages, and I’m armed with a digital camera. I’m going to see a ton of old friends that I haven’t seen in ages. Lushy writers, the lot of ‘em! Matt has promised to hold my hair back when I’m puking. He also assures me that I will be puking. A guy can count himself lucky who has friends like Matt.
My AC is still messed up at the apartment. I’m not sure if someone is coming here or not, tomorrow. The servicemen should have come by here, but they may be super busy this time of year. My big concern is my cat. I’ll be gone until Sunday, and I know it’s going to be a hot weekend. I don’t want the apartment to completely bake over. I’m going to leave the AC on, even though it’s only pushing out lukewarm arm at the moment. I may leave a small fan running in a back room, so at least there’ll be someplace for her to be cool.
Really wiped out. Sorry for the weak entry today. Check back late Sunday or Monday, as I’ll have a ton of great images to share. And if you’re lucky, some of them might even be in focus. :D
