Good Start

Woke up early, which is good. At least my schedule isn’t degenerating, turning me back into a nocturnal creature again. Way back when, I used to be able to work all through the night – writing, reading, studying. I seemed to do better after the sun went down. If I can stick to this early morning schedule, all the better.

Went jogging for a bit. It was embarrassingly short and I’m almost as winded as when I first tried running many weeks back, when I quit smoking. But at least I slapped on some shoes and got moving a little. Sunshine touched my skin, and I didn’t vaporize. Imagine that. Speaking of smoking – I’ve now lost track of how long it’s been. Three months? More? Is this a good thing or bad thing that I’ve forgotten/lost track?
