There is always more than one way to walk to work. Now, keep in mind that I didn’t say that all ways were equidistant, or faster. Just that there’s more than one way.
Some shop along Damen Avenue. I don’t know if this was meant as a statement, the result of someone merely wanting the statue’s head… or just plain vandalism.
I wasn’t sure, for a while, if it was better that the head was missing. If it were still there when I found this, I may have gotten even more depressed.
I stared for a long while, trying to determine if the head just broke off, or if it was deliberately removed.
Vandals who, apparently, are also Simpsons fans.
