#1: Last night, Sandy threw the idea around of me teaching a semester-long class. Up until then, I had never even considered the idea – I mean, a week is a bit rushed, but I’ve been thinking in terms of four classes, and how to get the most out of our time. But the idea of a full semester (which, here, is 16 weeks), seems really really interesting. To be able to take my time with symbols? To leisurely go about explaining buttons vs. movie clips? Dayam.
Logistically, I’m not sure how I could pull it off. But the idea, or the mere fact that the possibility exists, is fascinating.
#2: Tomorrow, I think a bunch of us are heading out after class. Two students came up to me after class let out, and asked me to go out drinking after class tomorrow. Not sure if it’s going to be an orderly Q&A kind of thing – or if it’ll get nutty and sloppy. Either way, I’m planning on bringing my camera.
So check back. If I don’t update this late tomorrow night, I’ll do so early Friday morning. Booyeah!
