Today, it was a bit slower – I showed a few sites to students, trying to vary their perceptions of what Flash can do and how others have used it. We covered how to break apart text, staggering animations, motion guides and importing sound. A lot of the second half of class was devoted to letting the students do their own work. A bit sad, to see things end so quickly. Four days is nowhere near enough to get a full understanding of Flash – but I’ve already seen some amazing work from students who, before Monday, hadn’t even touched the program.
