Worked my way to the front and squatted on the ground. For two shows. The first time, I was sitting next to these really cool kids (and their rather attractive mom), and we had a good time joking around. I showed them a few photos I took on my camera, and they made fun of the bolt in my head. The second show, I got a bit closer, and shot some more video.
Most of the fire you see is either on sticks, or swinging from chains. The Drum Tower housed several musicians, and a woman who pretended to be a caged bird. The keyboards, vocals and incessant drums made the entire thing – to say nothing of the pyro-acrobatics. Awesome, wonderful time. So worth braving the cold!
