Fuck it

Alright. Just spent a long while trying to fix whatever the hell is wrong with the nav. No luck. I’m giving up for the night. I’ve been breaking shit all day, so why shoud now be any different…

Holy Jacket

The arm keypad controls the iPod in the chest pocket, eliminating the need for unruly, tangled wires. Just touch the control pad on the jacket sleeve to change songs or volume levels and you??re off and running.

Overall, Disappointing

I woke up this morning with such energy and such good intentions. I was up late last night, working away on a cool flash-based project that could utilize many of our radio stations’ interviews with musicians. Mp3 and XML and flexible and easy to maintain… a lot of fun trying to suss things out. I

Australia: Ablaze

Seventh sent me some pics he took, back when Australia (Canberra in particular) was hit with all those fires. Some really great images in there.

Love/Hate

My parents called me up tonight, and we chatted for a while. Got caught up on my grandmother’s condition and, though she’s still going through some tests, things seem to have settled down more. Information Manipulation

Stayed and worked a bit late tonight. Trying to play around with a lot of arrays, and figuring out ways to "sort" information. I’m not sure yet whether I need to work with multidimensional arrays or not… but it’s been fun trying to figure this stuff out. Discovered the Array.sort method. Interesting stuff.

Good Talks

Chatting with Grumpy, seventh and Juliet all at the same time. Some good, good conversations tonight. Funny, insightful and comforting… all at once. I’ve got some cool ass friends. :)

Nostalgia, 1.0

After this thread on twelvestone, I got into this really hysterical IM conversation with rypunked. We started posting links to old television shows and movies we remembered, and it sort of went like that for a good long while. Anything from Pinwheel to Captain Caveman to The Shirt Tales to Count Duckula to Lode Runner
