Talked with Chelsea for a good long while on the phone today. As I was driving back to Chicago, I thought of her and Liz and Steph. When I got home, lo and behold, Chelsea had sent me a little electronic "Happy Birthday" card through e-mail. I called, we talked, and though there were a few, slight awkward moments, it seemed to be really nice overall.
I think being home helped a lot. The whole name thing, I sort of have this feeling of starting over, starting anew. I guess it’s carried over. I think I’m liking it.
