I took off from work early, around 3 PM. I felt a bit guilty, mainly because I know Justin and Ben have worked super long hours for an extraordinary stretch of time about a year or so ago. I feel in some parts that I’m being too presumptuous; who am I to take off so much time when Ben and Justin have at least a solid month of "time off" due them, technically.
Deep down, I know it’s ok for me to leave when I want/need. Emmis is good about being flexible, and it’s not like I’m not going to stay late in the future to get projects done. I know Justin and Ben are cool with things. But a part of me always wonders whether I’ve "earned" time off, compared to what Justin and Ben went through.
