So today I purchased a membership to the Poetry Center of Chicago. Tomorrow, Chelsea and I are going to a reading by Li-Young Lee. This will be cool – a worthy thing to be a member of, and a lot of events I’m definitely going to be interested in.
I’m thinking I might look for ways to volunteer. I noticed a few audio sections on their site, and I might be able to offer them a few Flash-based apps/solutions that could stream their audio better than RealMedia. Something to look into. And hell, how fun would it be to work with the original, hi-quality versions of those recordings!
