On the bridge that I cross each day to work, there are a ton of spiderwebs. And not just ordinary ones either, but huge, massive nets that are tucked into the girders. Some mornings, I feel like the only one who notices – everyone else is rushing by, walking briskly with their coffees and talking into their cell phones.
Seriously – these things are HUGE! I could spend a good hour taking photographs of the different webs and configurations I see. One of these days, I should.
Felix's Chinese name is Wei Tien. For the longest time, he thought his name meant "very sky." But he later found out it roughly translated to "Preserver of Heaven."
Felix was in show choir in high school. He can still pull out the old "jazz hands" if need be, due in no small part to muscle memory.
Every once in a while, Felix has some interesting run-ins with other Asians. At times, they're armed with cameras; at other times, he has the slight feeling that they might be armed, period.
