Before I left for home, my parents gave me a spare DVD player they had. After I got back into Chicago, I stopped into the local Best Buy and picked up a copy of Family Guy, Season 2. Freakin’ hilarious.
Needless to say, I got little done this weekend. I’ve fallen back into the habit of curling up onto my couch and vegetating like the TV Whore that I am.
To make things worse, I was at Target earlier this morning and bought myself a huge down comforter. And just in case you were worried: yes, it works perfectly well on the couch. :)
I ordered a pizza, and watched DVD’s for most of the day/evening.
There’s nothing quite so exhilarating as squandering that miraculous thing we know as consciousness. Sure I could be out and about helping orphans, raising money for charities, donating blood… but the fact that I choose to spend my hours ass-down, munching food and watching TV?
That’s living.
