I’m making all my updates now through TextPad. It’s helped me get used to looking directly at code, and the more I do it… the more comfortable I get. But right now, I still feel clunky. Through Dreamweaver, I could see what my pages looked like as I typed. Having that visual reference, I ceased to concern myself regarding style and focused on content.
Here, it’s a bit harder to gauge things. Even when it comes to a tolerable amount of text constituting a paragraph, it’s difficult to determine when to break and when to keep writing. I’ve always got an eye on the next row or cell, and the entire page doesn’t show up clearly in my mind’s eye.
