I happened across this thread on twelvestone, and found myself at an MIT page offering Video Lectures by Hal Abelson and Gerald Jay Sussman.
It caught my interest and (holy download), I managed to get the first video pulled down. Haven’t gotten more than a minute into the thing, but it looks cool. We’ll see how long it takes before this shit goes over my head.
Most people have separate heart and love lines on their palms. Felix has one big line that spans the width of his entire right palm. He's told that this is "lucky."
As a kid, Felix starred in a television commercial for a toy called "Linkits." He's never seen the toy beyond that day, but can still hear the theme song in his head.
On July 13th, 2002, Felix nearly killed himself when he put a Tombstone pizza in the oven and then promptly fell asleep on the couch for the remainder of the night. He almost won a Darwin Award.
