Writing Day

I had plans to go to a museum this morning. And as I was rushing around today… I decided that I wasn’t really in the mood. I was dragging a bit, and the more time that passed, the more I felt I needed to “hurry” to get a full day’s worth of time looking around in a museum.

Ultimately, I decided not to go anywhere. My original thought was to go to the Museum of Science and Industry. I still haven’t been there, and while I plan on visiting… today was not to be that day.

Instead, I ended up going to Filter again. I spent many hours there today, drinking coffee and revising poems. Quite wonderful, actually. I managed to get through the remaining poems I had to edit – which is huge. Most likely, I’ll have another batch to send ot soon. Pretty damn excited by that.

After arriving back home, I started copying all my edits (whcih had been on paper) and updated my computer files.

And that’s been my day in a nutshell. Sorry for the lack of photos, or the lack of any big adventure. I spent my day in a coffeeshop writing.

And it rocked. :)—–
