Sudden Introversion

Prior to departing for the movie, I partook of a rather potent cookie. For the most part, I didn’t feel much of it until we got back to Justin’s place after the movie. We made some more coffee and just hung around a while, chatting. I got to talk to Sonja a bit more which was nice, since we’ve hung out a few times in the same company… but hadn’t really talked all that much.

A while later, I was hanging out with Dave and Sonja, and realized that I was a bit farther gone than I had previously realized. For a good while there, I found myself super quiet (like I often get) and unable to really talk. This happens whenever I do it in public, so I should have figured – I just clam up and get super introverted (even worse than normal).

I hung out a while with Justin and Dave, and flipped through some old pictures. Around 4PM or so, I decided to take off. Part of me was ready for a nap, and another part was craving the whole isolation thing pretty badly.

I ended up getting a few movies and just holing up in the apartment for the remainder of the night. Which was, truth be told, quite enjoyable.
