Not sure what the context was, but Justin and I were chatting a few days ago and Dorothy Parker’s poem “Resume” came up. So I thought I’d take this time to share it with all of you.
Felix's Chinese name is Wei Tien. For the longest time, he thought his name meant "very sky." But he later found out it roughly translated to "Preserver of Heaven."
Felix was in show choir in high school. He can still pull out the old "jazz hands" if need be, due in no small part to muscle memory.
Every once in a while, Felix has some interesting run-ins with other Asians. At times, they're armed with cameras; at other times, he has the slight feeling that they might be armed, period.
