Today, I noticed an “Exit” sign for the first time. I’ve been working at my current job now for closing in on two years now. And I happened to look up, and I see this Exit sign that’s not more than 20 feet away from where I sit. Where I’ve been sitting for some 18 months or so.
Our office area is somewhat small, and there’s only one actual way in or out. So the need for an actual Exit sign seems rather silly. But still – it’s been there this whole time, and only today did I happen to notice it.
Note to self: However much you may think you know, there’s always something more to be discovered.
