Ben, Justin and I decided to grab some food after work (it was close to 7PM by the time we left). As we were leaving, Ben got a call from his wife, who was back home visiting family in Iowa. As it turns out, she was in a basement all day due to the crazy storms and tornados that were happening over there.
According to her, TV meteorologists were claiming that they had never seen such skies before. Ever. 10 different hues, and just crazy weather, apparently.
On the way to dinner, we noticed some seriously dark clouds headed our way and figured the worst was on its way.
As it turns out, things weren’t so bad. We had a good meal at Zen Noodles (formerly Hi Ricky’s), and talked a bit about our upcoming company trip to Mexico.
We had a big discussion about the Army, but it’s something for another day. I still have a lot of thinking to do, regarding how I feel on this subject, so I’m going to hold off talking about it until then.
