After work, I called up Steph and she agreed to go out with me for a drink. The two of us hung out at the Artful Dodger for a while, and threw down a few. A bit later, Liz joined us (after having hung out with her dad for the night).
I had a good time, and was happy to hang out and see the girls for a bit. For the most part, I really wanted to go out and have some whiskey, after working all day (10AM – 9PM). I heard a bunch of fun stories from Liz and Steph, and found out they have a Risk board that’s based on Lord of the Rings. Nerdy on so many, many levels.
To date, I have not yet had a drink at the top of the Hancock tower. This was brought up tonight, and I think this is something that should be remedied in the near future. In my mind, this is some kind of group effort, so I hope to resolve this soon.
