July 4, 2003: Kent and Christine’s wedding. Road trip to Saugatuck, for a great wedding and a reception on the lake (Fourth of July fireworks to boot!).

August 7, 2003: Q101 Intern Party. I was a bit hesitant to go at first, but totally glad I did afterwards. A good reminder that I need to shake off my hermit instincts more often.

Halloween: 2003. I love Halloween. I don’t know why, I just do. Be sure to check out the following days, when I travelled to Columbus.

November 15, 2003: Spontaneous road trip with Justin and Alex, heading Southwest. You Are Beautiful gallery opening that night.

January 6, 2004: Dinner at Justin’s. Some great conversations, some great food. This evening’s stayed in my mind this whole time.

January 9, 2004: Make Your Own Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwich Day. Everyone should do this at least once. Don’t forget to catch the pancake frisbee video!

February 28, 2004: Wandering the neighborhood and a return to writing. This is the first of many walks I would end up taking, just to explore the surrounding area. Filter has become my default for when I want to edit poems.

April 2, 2004: Sushi with Chelsea, poetry at Catalyst Ranch. Killer sushi, and some great readings (in a pretty unique environment). I remember the two of us cracking each other up and laughing a lot the entire night.

April 30, 2004: Gallery Hopping. Lots of new places I had never been, and a serendipitous encounter with Liz, Steph and Mandy at Beechwood.

June 3, 2004: Emmis Interactive Trip to Mexico, Cozumel wit Justin and Ben. Nerdy, Indulgent, and a lot of basking in the Mexico sun.
