Thankfully, I haven’t worked too many super late nights lately. However, the AC shuts off for the back half of the Q101 offices after 8PM. The main areas (the studios, the jock offices) are all cooled. But back where we are? It just shuts off.
Things don’t get really bad until maybe 10:00PM. Then, the air gets muggy, there’s no circulation, and the whole night it smelled like a thick cloud of warm menthol. Just… gross. And the later it got, the hotter it got.
Working late and staying focused is a hard thing to do. Being physically uncomfortable is yet another reminder of how much you really don’t want to be where you are.
