One equal sign means you’re assigning a value.
Two equal signs mean you’re testing for equivalency.

Gaaaaaaaaaah. I know this. I’ve been burned BADLY by this in the past. And I just lost 30 minutes thismorning, mucking around with my code only to realize I used = when I should have used ==. Stupid stupid stupid stupid.
