I noticed that I was getting linked up from Netscape yesterday. But I didn’t realize that I had made their main page. Wow!
I got linked up as their “Site of the Day,” which is pretty cool. I did notice this yesterday, but perhaps they kept me on another day because of the Bandwidth issue.
Here’s something kind of crazy. Yesterday, I had figured that all the traffic to my site was on the verge of dying out. My pageviews were steadily declining, and down to about 1,000 a day. My thought was: honeymoon’s over. Things were now going to settle back to normal.
But no – I end up going over my bandwidth allotment. And despite the fact that my site was down from about 11:00 AM until maybe 3 or 4PM, I still got about 12,000 pageviews yesterday. Crazy!
As an update – the 10GB of extra bandwidth I purchased yesterday was all pretty much chewed up by about 4PM today. I ended up buying another 10GB this afternoon. If this keeps up, I’ll likely have to upgrade my plan with my provider, so I can keep my site up and running.
