It wasn’t too long ago when Kashif first stepped in to our department. But fast forward a few months, and I’m excited to say that he’s now officially a part of Emmis Interactive. Woot!
Today, he stopped by Justin’s apartment to discuss some things, and I stuck around just long enough to get a photo. Watching this meeting here, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the time (closer to my first days as an Emmis employee) when we were literally all working out of Justin’s apartment.
It’s a bit weird, hiring on a new person during this whole working-from-home phase. But coming from a freelance background, I think Kashif is sort of used to working outside the traditional office.
I’m looking forward to all of us moving into our new space in another month. And I’m betting we’ll see a few more poker games in our future, to boot. I know I speak for the rest of us when I say… we’re done with Kashif kicking all our asses. It’s time for a new Lord and Master to rise up and claim the coveted Stein!
