Drove out to Barrington to Rey’s house, where all of us got together for a big day-long meeting. First and foremost, it was great to see everyone again, in person, in one place. Ever since we all started working from home, our meetings have primarily been either via IM or the phone.
We ordered some pizza for lunch and spent a brief bit of time watching a DVD that Ben had recently purchased about parkour. In a weird way (at least to me), this was oddly inspirational.
I’m not really interested in going into the details of the meeting (mostly because it’s all in-house stuff, and you’d probably find it boring anyways). Overall though – we were brainstorming the whole time, and bouncing ideas/ideals off of one another. It’s one thing to work with all these cool people, day to day. But it’s another thing entirely to collaborate and theorize and brainstorm with them.
