This is for anyone in the Brooklyn area: my friends Christine and Kent were planning to participate in the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn, NY. However, something happened with the airline they were flying (read: they got screwed), and their airfare costs suddenly tripled what they were expecting to pay. It sounds quite nasty, and the only way they can swing participating in the event now is to ditch their hotel reservations, fly out and try to find some folks who will put them up for a few days.
The two of them did well at the Chicago Renegade Craft Fair, and I know they’re really looking to be able to make it to the one in NY.
I can personally vouch for their cleanliness, their conversational prowess, as well as their wit and charm. If anyone is near the vicinity of McCarren Park in Brooklyn NY the weekend of June 24th, 25th and 26th… and you’re willing to put up some artists up your place, drop me a line and I’ll hook you guys up.
