Back in Indy, hanging with the family. My cousin Jenny, her husband Dan, their son Andrew and my aunt Becky are all in town visiting. I met up with everyone at the restaurant, and we had a good reunion/meal.
Andrew was already up way past his bedtime (he’s normally 2 hours ahead of Indiana time), so it was an early night. I ended up hanging out with my mom and dad at home, watching cable TV.
Interesting sidenote: as I was flipping around, my dad stopped me when we ran across an episode of Monk. Apparently, my folks are now addicted to this show as well. The episode we saw was the one where we’re introduced to Monk’s brother (played by John Tuturro). Great stuff.
When I’m back home, most nights end up like this – I’ll hang out with my folks at home, watching TV. My mom usually serves up some apples or oranges for everyone, and my dad slowly falls asleep on the couch next to me.
