Back in Chicago. I headed over to Justin’s place, as his flatmate Michael was having a backyard BBQ.
En route, spotted this in a window and it caught my eye. Little did I know that this was an omen of things to come.
At the cokout, I ended up trying out the same recipe for Grilled Corn that I did for Cinco de Mayo, and it seemed to go over pretty well.
I hung out there briefly, and found out that Dave and Tori had plans to hit some Tiki bar. Their friend Natalie showed up, and Justin and I ended up deciding to tag along.
And oh my lord, was that the right call or what. See below.
