I meant to mention this a while back. Way, way long ago, when I was still a fledgling computer nerd who barely knew his way around Flash… my friend Ron introduced me to a site called Favourite Website Awards. Over time, I started to check this site daily – and it quickly overtook Macromedia’s Site of the Day as my gauge for what people were up to with Flash.
After many, many years… the FWA got a total site redesign. They went live with this look just a day or two ago (and a new domain name to boot – www.thefwa.com). There are some really great features (like being able to “dock” your favorite sites. But most of all, the ability to search/filter sites is what gets me out of my seat, me clapping my hands.
If you’re unfamiliar with the FWA – swing on by their (new) site. It’s updated daily, and more often than not you’ll see something you’ve never really seen before.
