Clubfoot

Met up with Justin for some drinks at Clubfoot circa 9PM. We exchanged gifts, and promptly spent the next three hours sipping on Johnny Walker and talking computers. Mostly, we were discussing some of the sweet new tools Justin’s been developing, in his off-hours. I’m not going to say much here, suffice it to say that his stuff is jaw-droppingly amazing.

A good part of our talk had to do with branding and names. Our conversation carried us over until midnight. When we first showed up, there were maybe a handful of other folks at the bar. By the time we left, we had to squeeze our way through the throngs of bodies near the front.

I stopped over at Justin’s place so I could borrow his minirecorder. I’ve got some ideas that I’d like to try out while I’m back home. I’ve played with a DAT recorder before… but never a minidisc. We’ll see how far I get with this idea next week – might be another experiment in the works.
