On the walk back

This woman (who was walking using one crutch) stopped for a rest at the corner of Orleans/Wacker, waiting for the light to change. I only had time to try to snap a few shots before she got up again, but really liked the perspective I got.

This is an old shot, from a few days ago that I forgot to post. The light was reflecting off the Merchandise Mart windows at just the right angle, causing this reflection on the Chicago River.

Every once in a while, there are some cool light patterns that show up along this river.

This shot I took, right as we were walking back inside. The sun was hitting the side of the Mart in such a way as to cause this checker pattern on the building across the street.
