Phone Valet

I made a fairly big purchase today, and got myself a copy of Phone Valet. This software should allow me to turn my Mac into a sort of automated Message Center. Lots of features, though I’m not certain I’ll be using it in the way it was originally intended.

Remember back a month or so ago, when I came across Coudal Partner’s project, Verse by Voice? Well, I’ve been mulling over how to tie in a phone for my next project, and I think I’ve got a pretty fun idea in the works here. So far, I’ve just been kicking it around some, but I think it should be fairly straightforward to implement. I’m pretty excited – I think this new project should garner a decent amount of traffic/attention, as it’s more user-focused, with lots of user interaction.

Lots of stuff to iron out still, but the ball’s rolling. I’ll get the software/hardware in about a week – and in the meantime, I’ll be working on a logo, and a Flash interface. Very excited about this. I’ll keep you posted as it goes. :)
