Went over to help Howard move today, around 1PM. He’s got a pretty big desk that requires several guys to maneuver, and so I offered to help out.
Like Justin, he’s only moving a short distance as a result of his lease coming up. In fact, Howard is only moving two doors down (and onto the third floor).
I showed up, as did his cousin Chris and another friend Keith. The four of us were able to move his couch out to the front steps… but after a few failed attempts, realized that the couch simply wasn’t going to be able to fit into the stairwell. The door was too small, and the general consensus was that it would be too difficult to try to get the couch up the spiral-ish stairway.
And so, after a few calls and some discussion… Howard decided to throw several of his items into storage. And so he’s getting a truck tomorrow, and I’ll be showing up after work to help move some things.
All in all, he really doesn’t have all that much stuff. But with the storage option now, everyone decided to just hold off moving anything at all, until tomorrow.
