Tonight, Liz and I hung out at her place, along with her roommate Lisa, Lisa’s friend Dawn, and their friend Jake. We were sipping beers out on the back porch, talking a bit about Freakonomics and Gladwell. Sort of a lazy Friday, just hanging out.
When we ran out of booze, we went out to get more beer. Liz and I stopped off to get some gelato, and I picked up a big tin of Créme de Pirouline. I’m not sure why, but the last time I was in here… I found myself wanting them. A weird impulse buy.
Back at Liz’s apartment, I got a call from Michelle (who, oddly enough, emailed me a day or so ago, looking for folks to go grab some gelato with her). She swung on by with some wine, and we hung out on the back porch a bit more.
A slow night, but relaxing. Sipping drinks, hanging out.
