On the way home (I dropped Nuanda off near his place, and gave and Megan a lift back), we stopped off at the Green Eye for a quick, post-dinner beer.
As we were sitting down, I realized the we were at the same spot (and the same table) when we were here for New Year’s.
A pretty relaxed way to end the evening. We three talked a bit about relationships, and about how they change as everyone gets older, music and upcoming shows/festivals.
Cool seeing Chelsea again, as well as Megan. A low-key evening all around. Even for a Friday, the Green Eye was reasonable (and not crazy packed, like most of the bars in Wicker Park/Bucktown/Uk Village). Can’t believe it’s been more than half a year since I’ve set foot in this place.
