Housekeeping day. Mostly laundry, preparing food for the next week.
I feel better on this diet. Or, at least, I think I do. It’s only been a few days, so it’s likely hard for me to actually notice any real change. But I *think* I feel better. I’ve been eating better, at the very least.
More than anything, the time to prepare and make food is something I didn’t account for. My eating habits, prior to now, have been fairly dismal. Usually, if I’m fending for myself, I order out more often than not. It’s a lazy thing, and something I do to save time (so that I can focus on other things/projects).
Lately though, I’m cooking more, making things for myself more.
Granted, it’s taking time to do this – but I think that will be something (much like the types of foods I’m able to eat currently) I’ll get accustomed to, in time.
I should really buy a scale sometime next week, just to see if I’m losing weight. While I know I could stand to lose several pounds, I really just feel like it’s time I got to eating a little better. The diet to me is more for eating well, and not so much about losing weight. Although that will be a nice side effect.
Well, at least, I hope it will be. If all goes well.
