One Day Secret: Please Help

I’m about to launch a new personal project called “One Day Secret,” and I’d like to solicit your assistance.

It’s been a blast working on this thing, and I’m really excited to share it. I think it’s a pretty easy thing I’m asking, and hopefully… you’ll find it fun. :)

To help me out, you’ll need two things: a website address, and a phone number.

Website: http://www.onedaysecret.com
Phone: 773/394/202017

Here’s how the site works:

I’m asking people to call my home phone number. Each person will be greeted by an audio message, and will be prompted to leave a secret. Once that person hangs up, the message is uploaded to the onedaysecret.com website, where anyone else can listen to it.

After twenty for hours from the time of the call, the secret is deleted from the server. Hence, One Day Secret.

Right now, I’m trying to soft-launch the site. I’ve finished with the nuts and bolts, but I have no content – I have no secrets.

That’s where you come in. If, in the next day or so, you could call this number and leave a secret or two… that would help me get the ball rolling. And if you wanted to call more than once, hey – that would be even better. Call as much as you like.

What do I mean when I say “Leave a secret?” Well, that’s up to you. You can leave a silly secret (“I still really, really like Bon Jovi”). You can leave a serious one (“I stole $50 from Mr. Gordon, when I was housesitting for him”). So long as it’s a secret, you can say whatever you like.

Each caller gets 60 seconds.

If you’re curious how the site works, take a look around first before calling (www.onedaysecret.com). And by all means let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks again for your help. I hope you have as much fun playing with this site as I had, building it.

-Felix

PS: I’m effectively giving up my home phone number as of this moment, so if you need to reach me… call my cell. That is, unless you want your message posted to the web. ;)
