At first, the thing that caught my eye was that this kid’s bike had is own U-lock. Shortly after that, I started wondering a bit more about the gigantic antlers on the front.
I was running late for work, and had to fight the urge to look around for the owner (or parent), and ask a lot of questions. Sadly, some things you encounter never give you the closure you want.
Most people have separate heart and love lines on their palms. Felix has one big line that spans the width of his entire right palm. He's told that this is "lucky."
As a kid, Felix starred in a television commercial for a toy called "Linkits." He's never seen the toy beyond that day, but can still hear the theme song in his head.
On July 13th, 2002, Felix nearly killed himself when he put a Tombstone pizza in the oven and then promptly fell asleep on the couch for the remainder of the night. He almost won a Darwin Award.
that bike rocks.maybe i’m just jetlagged, but i noticed the huge basket first, my brain assuming somethings were just overflowing the basket…..then i read ‘antlers’, looked back, and quickly recalculated my ranking – one of my favorites that you’ve taken of oddities in chicago.(love the seat proportion too! can only imagine the owner…)=)
