Justin was back in town today, stopping in after visiting Alex and Linda. We had exchanged messages over the weekend, but I didn’t realize he was back from the west coast until earlier today (which made for a nice surprise).
Of course, a bunch of us met up with him at Rodan, a place we used to frequent. It feels like it’s been ages since I was back in Wicker Park… so seeing Justin again in the old neighborhood felt doubly nice.

Liz joined us a bit later in the evening, after her class. On arriving, she discovered us having a very deep and sophisticated conversation about Hegel epistemology the fallibility of Reason R. Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet.
