Today, we had a ton of folks in for our internal Quarterly meeting (and birthday lunch). In addition to getting caught up on the current state of affairs (via Deb, who is always fascinating to listen to)… our Affiliate Relations team (James, Phil and Katie) set up a fun quiz that helped everyone get to know everyone a little better.
I’ve been remiss with my photos of new hires, but there’s been a flurry of activity lately and we’ve brought a lot of people on board fairly quickly. Today’s trivia quiz was a fantastic and fun way for everyone to get to know everyone else just a little better.
Folks looking around, trying to match names to the photographs and descriptions.
I wish I had some good video to share – there was a pretty constant stream of laughter, as everyone went around looking at one another’s baby pictures.
All of the photos followed the same format – a baby photo, accompanied by the answers to the same five questions:
Where were you born?
Who performed at the first concert you attended?
What was your first job?
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Tell us something that your co-workers would be interested to learn about you?

The look on Rey’s face says it all. This was lots of fun, and I discovered a ton of crazy, amazing info on the folks I work with.
The whole time, I kept thinking how neat it would be to put all this info online somewhere (almost as an “About Us” for the company), and pair eacg with its corresponding, present day photo.
Afterwards, on the way back to the office, I spotted Mike holding some balloons… and had a little flashback to about two years ago, when something similar happened.
This time though, we didn’t launch them out into the wild. They got a nice home on the back of Jane’s chair, instead.
