I’m not a big fan of David Lynch, but I know a few folks who are (recently at Justin’s going-away dinner, a few of us talked some about Lynch’s films). I was looking around today for some free podcasts for our upcoming road trip… and found this gem tucked away on Stanford University’s Podcast page: a free hour and a half talk by Lynch entitled Consciousness, Creativity and the Brain.
Of course, I can’t mention Lynch without also mentioning the stellar David Foster Wallace Essay David Lynch Keeps His Head. Again, not a Lynch fan here… but I do enjoy Wallace’s take (and I an fond of his snarky, hipster-academic voice). A good read, whether you care for Lynch’s films or no.
