We had a nice pot-luck quarterly meeting this afternoon. Prior to the event, Bryan and Allison and the rest of the design crew gussied up the room with some decorations.
Good doesn’t begin to describe this. Lots of great stuff people brought in from home: Kashif’s wife made her fantastic samosas, there was meatloaf, green bean casserole, Mulu brought in some great Ethiopian food. I’m forgetting a ton of folks/dishes, but I got absolutely stuffed (after going back for seconds).
Most people have separate heart and love lines on their palms. Felix has one big line that spans the width of his entire right palm. He's told that this is "lucky."
As a kid, Felix starred in a television commercial for a toy called "Linkits." He's never seen the toy beyond that day, but can still hear the theme song in his head.
On July 13th, 2002, Felix nearly killed himself when he put a Tombstone pizza in the oven and then promptly fell asleep on the couch for the remainder of the night. He almost won a Darwin Award.
