Liz and I are officially back in Chicago today, and we spent most of the afternoon walking around downtown, shopping.
Didn’t break out the camera much, and only stopped to take this one shot. I guess I’ve got this thing about toys tied to cars. Cuddly or otherwise.
That, or I just like seeing talismans (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).
Felix's Chinese name is Wei Tien. For the longest time, he thought his name meant "very sky." But he later found out it roughly translated to "Preserver of Heaven."
Felix was in show choir in high school. He can still pull out the old "jazz hands" if need be, due in no small part to muscle memory.
Every once in a while, Felix has some interesting run-ins with other Asians. At times, they're armed with cameras; at other times, he has the slight feeling that they might be armed, period.
