Post work, Deb organized a little babyshower for Mike and Melissa (they’re due sometime late March). It was fun seeing everyone at work gathered together to celebrate, gifts and drinks and all. After a very busy day, it felt nice to kick back with everyone, relax a bit, and to bask in the good vibes surrounding the (soon-to-be) new parents.
And keeping with the baby theme, the first round of drinks were served in the appropriate glasses. Cheers, Mike and Melissa!
Felix's Chinese name is Wei Tien. For the longest time, he thought his name meant "very sky." But he later found out it roughly translated to "Preserver of Heaven."
Felix was in show choir in high school. He can still pull out the old "jazz hands" if need be, due in no small part to muscle memory.
Every once in a while, Felix has some interesting run-ins with other Asians. At times, they're armed with cameras; at other times, he has the slight feeling that they might be armed, period.
