On the way to work this morning, I saw the blue balloon again. Today, it looks a bit worse for wear, after having survived a pretty heavy downfall of snow the past day or two.
On seeing it this morning, I was reminded of a black balloon I saw back in Wicker Park (and a photograph I intended to take) almost exactly four years ago.
Felix has given the Heimlich Manuever not once... but twice, to two different people. He's happy to report that both attempts were successful.
Felix has perfect pitch. If you play a note, he can guess what it is with a pretty decent degree of accuracy. He attributes this skill to learning music at an early age.
