As is the ritual at my workplace, everyone tries to throw a little birthday surprise for Rey/Deb when their day rolls around. Today was Rey’s birthday and we all gathered in the kitchen to help celebrate.
While I wonder if we’ll ever top the surprise sushi cake, this design was entirely appropriate (check out the “Mena” tag, right in the seal). Awesome stuff. Happy Birthday, Rey!
Felix's Chinese name is Wei Tien. For the longest time, he thought his name meant "very sky." But he later found out it roughly translated to "Preserver of Heaven."
Felix was in show choir in high school. He can still pull out the old "jazz hands" if need be, due in no small part to muscle memory.
Every once in a while, Felix has some interesting run-ins with other Asians. At times, they're armed with cameras; at other times, he has the slight feeling that they might be armed, period.
