Today, while getting coffee at the Starbucks on California and Logan… a woman behind the counter stops me mid-order, and said: “Excuse me, but do you work at Q101?”
I mentioned that yes, I used to work in a back room a while back.
She said “I thought that was you. I was on the Q101 website earlier, and saw you on there!“
Turns out, she saw my mug on the Interview Simulator. I’ve had a few prospective hires recognize my face before… but today was the first time a total stranger recognize me in this manner. It was pretty funny. Unsettling and funny.
