Ben sent out an invite last week for some post-work drinks. All of the design crew headed out to the nearby Plymouth to hang out on the rooftop bar to enjoy one another’s company, and the view.

Tonight was a nice chance to catch up with everyone, to talk a bit more with the new hires, and to get to just hang out with everyone in a non-work environment. I got into some interesting talks with Allison about the pre-dot-com days, and we reminisced about the early days of the web (remember Pine mail anyone? VAX?).
Even after the party dispersed, a bunch of us all walked to the Blue line together, and took the same train home. It was nice to continue the evening like that, hanging out as a big group… and then even as we headed home, staying a big group.
I work with some good folks. I can’t say it often enough.
