Anthony and Cathie stopped by the office today, to say hello and to share their good news (they’re expecting, and about 4 months along). The pic (above) is old, as I didn’t have my camera on me at the time.
It was great seeing them, and catching up a bit. After all the changes in the office lately, it was nice to get a reminder of the old days (back when we were located inside the Merchandise Mart).
In our reminiscing, I was reminded of the fantastic and ill-conceived bet that was The Vending Machine Challenge™.
Since it was such a great bet, and Anthony was such a great contestant… I figured it was worth mentioning again. It’s been about 2 and a half years since this happened, but I’ve a great fondness for the day. Check out the links for more context/pics/videos.
